Manchester United Signs Benjamin Sesko for 85 Million Euros
Manchester United has confirmed the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig for up to 85 million euros ($98.8 million), including add-ons. The 22-year-old, who signed a five-year contract until June 2030, is the club’s third attacking addition this summer, following Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, as they aim to boost their offense after a tough Premier League season.
Sesko scored 21 goals in 45 games for Leipzig last season and is known for his speed and strength, often compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Manchester United beat Newcastle United to secure his signature, and football director Jason Wilcox praised his potential to become a world-class star under manager Ruben Amorim.
