The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony took place on September 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where football’s brightest stars were honored. In the men’s category, Ousmane Dembélé (PSG) claimed the Ballon d’Or ahead of Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), while Aitana Bonmatí (Barcelona) secured her third consecutive Ballon d’Or in the women’s category. Rising talents were also celebrated, with Lamine Yamal winning the Kopa Trophy for best young male player and Vicky López taking the women’s Kopa Trophy.

Other major awards included the Johan Cruyff Trophy for best coaches, going to Luis Enrique (men) and Sarina Wiegman (women).
