MLB: MLB: Highlights from some results from July 25, 2025

A recap of some of July 25 MLB results with highlights:
- Orioles 4, Guardians 3
The Orioles edged out the Guardians in a tight matchup. A late-inning RBI double by Adley Rutschman proved decisive. Closer Craig Kimbrel secured the save with a dominant 9th inning.
- Blue Jays 11, Tigers 4 Toronto’s offense exploded with 15 hits. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the charge with a 3-run homer and 4 RBIs total. The Tigers’ bullpen struggled to contain the rally.
- Cardinals 9, Padres 7 In a back-and-forth game, the Cardinals came out on top thanks to a clutch 3-run homer from Nolan Arenado. Despite a strong outing from Fernando Tatis Jr. (3 hits), the Padres couldn’t close the gap.
- Athletics 5, Astros 2 The A’s pulled off an upset behind six strong innings from starter JP Sears and a big 2-run homer by Shea Langeliers. The Astros’ bats were mostly silent except for an early solo shot from Yordan Álvarez.
- Mariners 4, Angels 2 Julio Rodríguez delivered again with a 2-RBI double in the 6th inning. Logan Gilbert struck out 8 in 7 innings, helping Seattle hold off the Angels despite Mike Trout’s solo homer.
- Dodgers 4, Twins 3 A walk-off single by Freddie Freeman in the 9th sealed the win for L.A. Shohei Ohtani also homered, while the Twins rallied late but fell just short.
